Double-sided medallion with the inscription, DR CHRISTIAN FRIEDRICH SAMUEL HAHNEMANN 1755 – 1843 around the circumference and SIMILIA SIMILIBUS CURANTUR within that, surrounding an image of Hahnemann, copied from the relief of 1838 by David d’Angers. Both sides have the same inscription and image, with one in relief and the other intaglio.
